International Women's Day

March 8th is International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. We are a great believer of this day and believe that women’s skills and talents should be showcased and celebrated throughout the year also.

There are loads of events, showcases, seminars etc that will be held throughout the month of March. Here is just a selection of events taking place in London

Thursday 4th-12th March
- Bird Eye View Film Festival

- JOIN WOMEN ON THE BRIDGE – LONDON
Join ‘Women on the Bridge' to stand in solidarity with women around the world. Beginning at 10am from Enbankment to Millenium Bridge. For more info click here

- Rebel Muzik International Women’s Day Special

In honour of International Women’s day Rebel Muzik will dedicate the event to female artists, female DJs and female Rebel Musicians including Poetic Pilgrimage( who will be launching their New Cd: Star Woman), Jordan, Muslimah and many more. Sunday 14th March
- Walk For Women/ 10 mile Fundraising Walk for Mali Women


Recently Mohammod Yahya of Rebel Muzik was recently approached by a organisation which invited him to participate in a 10 mile sponsored walk in order to raise money for Project Muso. For those not yet familiar with Project Muso, it’s a Mali ( West Africa) based charity whose mission is to improve community health by enabling women to fight poverty.
