Deaf Jam Documentary - the name is in the title. Aneta Brodski, a deaf teen living in New York City, discovers the power of American Sign Language poetry. As she prepares to be one of the first deaf poets to compete in a spoken-word slam, her journey leads to an unexpected collaboration.
Judy Lieff is one of the film makers of this moving and insightful documentary. As well as a director and producers she is also a dancer and teacher who earned her M.F.A. at the California Institute of the Arts. Lieff has produced, directed, and edited many award-winning short dance films.
