As birthday celebration go this should be a good one so may sure you head down to the CAMP London on Tuesday 11th Ocotber 2011 for the Poejazzi’s 5th anniversary party.
Line up is looking good with music from Cornelia, a Swedish singer-songwriter blending blend of folk and electronica (whose fans include Flying Lotus and Jose Gonzalez; and from Rosie Sleightholme, lauded by the Guardian, who follows in the footsteps of Martha Wainwright.
Sadly, Mikill Pane won’t be with us – he’s touring with Poejazzi favourite Ed Sheeran – but into his place steps Mista Gee, the accomplished host of BBC Radio 4′s Bespoken Word. Rounding off the spoken word duties in style will be Nikesh Shukla, whose novel Coconut Unlimited was nominated for the Costa First Novel Award.
