For those of you not in the know 'I Still Love H.E.R.' is Chicago's monthly Hip Hop event featuring female DJs, MCs, B-Girls, and Graffiti artists held every 4th Monday of the month. With the next event to be held on Monday 26th December.

UK Female Allstars 'Rock The Mic' LIVE @ BBC 1Xtra Live

It's a long time coming but 1xtra done good by giving the female rappers the stage. It's also great seeing the UK talent come through with out no beef but proper support for their peers. This is the first round of young talent coming through so I hope this spures a new bread of mc's to come through and set to the mic. God knows we need more.

The line up included Mz Bratt, Lady Leshurr, Lioness, RoxXxan, Baby Blue and A.Dot with support from DJ Kayer on the decks

Canadian Blast vs Oui Love - 05.12.11

Oui Love and Canadian Blast are getting together to celebrate new music with two of the most exciting bands for 2012. And as i am a big fan of Canadian artists I am rather looking forward to the night. I am not familair with these acts but they sound good.

The night is FREE and will be held at Rich Mix in Shorditch and kicks off from 19.30 pm so you have no excuss really.
